Mid-Michigan Computer Forensics Group is dedicated to offering the best service possible by investing in ourselves. Providing the best technologies and training to our examiners benefits our clients with more accurate and quicker examinations.

Our forensic analysts are experienced as they have each completed hundreds of examinations and attended thousands of hours of training (more than 1000 hours each!). Our analysts are experienced courtroom witnesses as many of them are enlisted members of the Michigan State Police Computer Crimes Unit. Analysts have experience conducting examinations as they relate to homicide, computer intrusion, stalking/harassment, child pornography, identity theft and more.

Don't let the name fool you. While we are located in Michigan, we are available to assist you with your civil based requests. Many of our examinations have been related to out of state and out of country investigations.

Our Mission

To provide forensic data recovery and digital examinations for private industry involving civil matters; utilizing forensic methods to maintain the integrity of recovered data for civil process in an efficient and professional manner.

Court Testimony

Our examiners have testified in criminal court as “expert” witnesses in the area of computer forensics. Examiners are currently employed by the Michigan State Police Computer Crimes Unit, specializing in criminal cases as they relate to child exploitation, fraud, embezzlement, homicide and network intrusion investigations.

Court testimony is an item that most individuals do not have training or experience with. A forensic examiner not only needs to locate the evidence but also needs to be able to fully explain the findings with confidence and present the information in a Court of Law if necessary.

Don't be fooled!

Often times, businesses and private individuals rely on computer shops or I.T. professionals that have no computer forensic training! The professionals at M2CFG not only have thousands of hours of training in the field of computer forensics but have also completed several thousand hours of computer forensic examinations and investigations.

Don't be fooled by someone who "appears" to be computer literate. Be sure to ask about the training they have received in the field of computer forensics. Many have computer skills and training but few have received the type of training required to ensure the integrity of evidence and volatile data.
