Computer Forensics and
data recovery services
Mid-Michigan Computer Forensics Group (M2CFG)
specializes in providing precise, accurate and
confidential computer forensic examinations and
data recovery. Forensic analysis of digital media
is a court recognized process that produces electronic evidence and
findings that can be used to prove or disprove
situations. Our courtroom experienced
analysts hold numerous data recovery, forensic
examination and security certifications.
Recovery of data from electronic
media can be helpful in countless amounts of
situations. Our examiners have successfully
completed numerous examinations and eDiscovery
requests including:
Theft of proprietary Information
Infidelity, cheating spouse
Computer Intrusion
Violation of employee acceptable use policies
Sexual harassment
Human resource employee discharge justification
Recovery of lost, corrupt or damaged electronic
files
Recovery of deleted data
Unfortunately, some
organizations "perform" examinations
whose examiners are not certified and whose skill
sets are those of computer technicians.
While these individuals may be able to offer some
technical information, they lack the proper skill
sets needed to complete proper forensic
examinations.
Proper computer forensic
examinations require relevant training, methodologies
and experience.
Our examiners have completed
thousands of hours of certified training, adhere
to accepted forensic methods and have completed
hundreds of examinations.

and completed analysis on the following devices:

disks
Compact
and DVD Disks
Mobile telephones
PDAs (Personal Digital Assistants)
Digital Cameras
MP3 players
Flash media (such as CF, SD, xD, smartmedia and
more)

Proprietary systems such as DVR recorders and
